По поводу Donkey Kong Country 4, припоминаю у меня была пиратка очень криво "переведённая" на русский язык, при чём была и на картридже, и потом удалось её сдампить в ром, но я его пока что не могу найти. В этом русском ROM'е слово PASSWORD превратилось в ПАССЛОРЬ, а в другом меню его же можно встретить переведённым как СТАЬПРОЛЬ. Ещё некоторые элементы текста превратились в мешанину букв и даже кусочков спрайтов, да и в самой игре спрайты как будто сломаны где-то. На титульном экране рядом с красивым названием игры на английском можно заметить невзрачный переведённый текст на русском, написанный обычным шрифтом.

i was today years old when i learned you can play doom online. ive always played the shareware version back in the day. recently got back into doom and the mods. found this video posted on a doom forum and didnt know there was more than 1 program to play online with.

The worst part about wikia is that, unless a fandom can afford to keep up its own website, it’s largely the only option to make a fan resource site. And I hate it!! There’s older communities like LOZ and Mario that have their own resource sites, and they get pushed to the bottom of search results in favor of wikia.

I have played both ways, I do greatly prefer to the modern controls. The only visual problem has a setting to be fixed in GZ anyway. Also, most mods especially recent ones are made for modern controls in mind. I usually forget I can jump unless the mod has platforming like the golden souls trilogy.

I prefer to play doom the way the maps were designed for. If the map was designed well around the limitations of autoaim, I'll play with autoaim. If a map was designed around freelook, I'll play with freelook. Maps need to be designed and played with their intended behaviors and compatibilities. Maps like MAP30 Icon of Sin are totally broken with freelook because it was designed with the autoaim limitations in mind, so I just don't play Doom 1 and 2 with freelook. Now *pistol start* is something I can split from vanilla. I actually find Doom 1 and 2 far more enjoyable with pistol start and the levels seem practically designed for it. It makes doom much more challenging but still balanced. The boss fights from Doom 1 are also WAY better.

I used to listen to this (for whatever reason) and it became a frequently visited tab, now, every time I put in 'y' for youtube, this shows up, every time I go to youtube, this video opens. This, for the past year and a half I think has been something I see daily. I will never change this.

I come from the future, and after a day of searching on forums and modifying my computer's files, I can tell you, DO NOT DOWNLOAD VIRTUALMIDISYNTH THAT THING MESSED UP MY LAPTOP. Only like another 2 people share my problem, but in a short story, it deleted the soundfont folder from my computer and I am trying to manually fix it. I can tell the long story if anyone wants to hear it.

On the topic of school shootings being blamed on doom and violent games in general is that the politicians never seems to notice that the people who do these things make up a very very small part of all the people who play the games. Who did not go shoot up a school. But because a few Individuals out of the thousands who play the games they conclude the games are the problem. Outstanding logic from the people we trust to make rules for us to follow....
